We’re on a mission.

We love horses and we know you do too. We’re on a mission to increase participation in hunter/jumper sports at all levels by ensuring fairness, safety and enjoyment.

Meet the Team

Macy Mitchell

Head Trainer | Barn Manager | Owner

Macy began her riding career at the young age of 5. As a junior rider she rode her way up the ranks from ponies to Junior Hunter Championships-West, and Regional Jumper Championships. Her impressive show resume includes several Hunter Derby wins, high placings in National Hunter Derbies, and Open Jumper Prix.  Macy has competed at the regional, national and international levels.

Macy received her Professional card with USEF shortly after aging out of her junior career. Macy discovered early on she has a passion (and talent) for bringing up young, green horses, she is personally invested in helping develop them as they come through Autumn Hills. Including a couple of her own. Her experience with young horses gained her the patience and confidence to teach Hunter/Jumper and Equitation riders of all levels.

In 2017, Macy attended the Northwest School of Animal Massage and received her certification for Equine Massage Therapy. She focuses on maintenance massage and keeping our equine athletes in top performance. She has also seen positive results in rehabbing horses from injury. By adding AAH Therapy Lights to her body work to help stimulate blood flow to the area of focus, we have seen great results with both massage and light treatments.

Macy is eager to begin and complete the Trainer Certification through USEF as well as compete in the Developing Professional Program through USHJA as she continues to learn and work on her own professional development.
